GRANTON YOUTH LTD

Engaging
young people

Developed in consultation with young people in the area, Granton Youth offers a supportive space for local young people aged 11+, and their families, to provide a variety of opportunities and supports to help them aspire to, and achieve their full potential.

GY offers a holistic programme to support local young people and their families, offering practical, emotional and social support through facilitation, empowerment and challenge – across the various projects and services we offer – to increase participation and reduce social isolation.

Our combination of open access youth work, streetwork, informal learning, counselling, mentoring, school-based youth work, volunteering and families work allows our clients to explore relevant health, emotional, social and practical issues in a relaxed and safe environment. We see the value and potential in every person we work with and, working from a place of mutual trust and respect, strive to ensure that they can see this in themselves.
