Mixtape Volume 5 out now!

Granton Youth is proud to present it’s fifth collection of original songs by our “Mixtape” music club! – An Edinburgh based music, centred youth club for 12-18 year olds which is completely free to attend.

The standard continues to get higher in terms of young people’s original work, and we have had a number of young people release independently with our help this term – as well as make great inroads within the UK Music Scene. Some have played major festivals and sold out prestigious venues around the UK, and multiple young people have been featured on BBC Introducing/Radio 1.

This is a friendly and supportive group using peer education to build and support skills and performance. Youth work staff and music tutors work with young people to learn a variety of instruments/vocal coaching/song-writing; as well as lessons about the music industry, events jobs, and operating as an independent musician.
