Quotes From Previous Volunteers

“I’d never thought about youth work before I came on the peer leaders course, now I feel this is definitely the line of work I want to do and could be good at.”

“Whilst I’m in this area I always feel angry and aggressive except then I’m in the youth centre, the young people, staff and my fellow peer leaders make me feel good about myself and I feel supported.”

“You get the opportunity to do stuff you’d never normally do like the wall climbing, go-karting or even the team building activities are good fun.”

“I feel like I’m doing something worthwhile.”
